Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a cable tray which is installed on the ceiling and arranges a wire and, more specifically, to the cable tray and method for installing the same formed of; a pair of side rails which is installed on the ceiling and is installed side by side at regular intervals for arranging the wire; and multiple horizontal frames which are installed to cross the pair of side rails at equidistant intervals. The side rail forms the width of one end between both ends of a longitudinal direction wider than the other end and positions the other end side having a narrow width of the other side rail on one end of the side rails having a wide width. The cable tray connects an overlapping portion between the side rails using a bolt and a nut without a joint connector. There is no need for the joint connecter to connect the side rails at the installation of the cable tray of the present invention. Therefore, lightening the structural weight of the cable tray is possible and the materials reduced and the appearance improved using a minimum rivet or bolt.
