Abstract: PURPOSE: A system for generating, authenticating, and decoding a reliable barcode is provided to confirm public information stored in the barcode and authenticate the reliability of the public information by using digital signature information. CONSTITUTION: An information receiving unit(340) receives public information of a barcode decoded by a barcode reader and digital signature information. An information storage unit(210) stores authentication information for determining whether to forge the digital signature information. A comparison digital signature unit(310) generates digital signature information for comparison based on the public information and the authentication information. A digital signature comparing unit(320) determines whether to forge the barcode by comparing the digital signature information received from the barcode reader which is compared with digital signature information.
