Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for reducing the speed of a vessel (10), including: a braking instrument (30) which is installed on the stern of the vessel (10), and which is prepared with a parachute (36) dropped underwater; and a deployment instrument (40) prepared with a mass body (42) and a buoyant body (44), in order to induce a swift underwater deployment of the parachute (36). Accordingly, the stopping distance of the vessel can be reduced, in order to minimize damages caused by a crash accident, and the simplification of the structure contributes to a high reliability of the apparatus while facilitating commercialization.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a maritime structure having a seawater jet device, arranged between a seawater inlet and a seawater outlet for an LNG regasification apparatus installed on a maritime structure, to prevent inflow seawater and discharged seawater from mixing together. According to the present invention, the maritime structure, having a regasification apparatus using seawater as a heat source for heating liquefied gas to re-gasify the liquefied gas, includes an inlet for making seawater flow into a ship hull; an outlet for discharging the seawater cooled by the heat exchange with liquefied gas out of the ship hull; and a jet device for jetting the seawater to separate seawater around the inlet from seawater around the outlet.
