Abstract: The present invention relates to a disaster damage investigation system based on a mobile and a method thereof and, more specifically, to a disaster damage investigation system based on a mobile (for example, a smart phone) linked with a national disaster management system (NDMS) and a method thereof. For this, the present invention provides a disaster damage investigation system based on a mobile including: an investigator terminal; a mobile server which receives damage investigation information of a disaster region collected through the investigator terminal, and stores and manages additional information included in the disaster investigation information in an additional information DB; a relay DB which receives and stores the damage investigation information provided from the mobile server; and a disaster management server which verifies a disaster register of the damage investigation information stored in the relay DB periodically through a scheduler, and then stores and manages the verified disaster investigation information in a main DB. Therefore, according to the present invention, time and costs can be reduced, by collecting the damage investigation information (including disaster information and additional information) using a portable and public mobile (for example, a smart phone), and then transmitting and registering the damage investigation information in the main DB of the NDMS.
