PURPOSE: An equalization apparatus and method thereof are provided to promote the reliability of equalization by equalizing a signal which interference is eliminated in the received signal. CONSTITUTION: The equalization unit of a receiver estimates a transmission signal by equalizing a received signal(703). The interference elimination signal generator of the receiver generates the received signal which interference is eliminated between transmission signals using the estimated transmission signal(705). The equalization unit creates x' and x" in order to independently equalize the signal which the interference is eliminated. The equalization unit outputs x' using a linear addition method. The equalization unit generates the estimated transmission signal(707). PURPOSE: A method and a device for cluster combining and the controlling of OFDM symbol window timing are provided to minimize ISI effect by optimally controlling the location of an OFDM symbol window according to the multipath channel properties. CONSTITUTION: A symbol timing and window location unit(150) changes a signal(116) of a channel estimator(110) into a time axis signal by using an N-point IFFT(151). An additional path control and window position controller(155) decides the location of an N-point IFFT from an output signal of a path searching unit(153). A channel compensation and demodulator unit(174) each demodulates two clusters according to a control signal. A merging unit(190) annexes each of the demodulated clusters.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A receiver operation method based on an equalizer and an apparatus thereof for reducing the loss of reception performance in a mobile communication system are provided to reduce the size of a multiple tap and reduce the complexity of hardware. CONSTITUTION: A channel estimator(107) presumes a channel about a multiple path reception signal. The channel estimator analyzes a delay profile of a multiple path channel. The channel estimator changes the location of multiple tap according to the result of a delay profile result. The channel estimator comprises the multiple tap sub channel estimator and the channel estimation controller. The multiple tap sub channel estimator obtains the channel estimation value of the multiple tap from the multiple path received signal.

A substrate supporting module and a deposition apparatus having the same are provided to prevent damage to a thin film pattern formed on a substrate by forming a deposition preventing member which covers a guide member. A frame includes a surface(2) to be deposited, a rear surface(3) faced with the surface to be deposited, and a side surface(4) which connects the surface to be deposited to the rear surface. The frame receives a substrate, and supports the rear surface. A plurality of substrate fixing units(30) corresponds to the side surface, and is coupled in an edge of the frame. A guide member(50) is coupled in the substrate fixing unit, covers a part of the surface to be deposited, and guides the substrate. A deposition preventing member(70) is coupled in the substrate fixing unit, is separated from the guide member, and covers the guide member.

PURPOSE: A calibration apparatus in a wireless communication system and method thereof are provided to reduce errors and setup time related to calibration methods according to environment change by using training signals. CONSTITUTION: A modem(100) selects a calibration method which uses one tone signal or two tones signal. When the calibration method which uses the two tones signal is selected, the modem selects I channel or Q channel. The modem provides training signals to a transmission and reception unit(150) through the selected channel. The transmission and reception unit increases the frequency of the training signal through a transmission path. The reception path receives feedbacks related to the increased frequency of the training signal from a duplexer(170).

PURPOSE: An equalizer receiving device in a mobile communication system and a method thereof are provided to maximize a channel estimation performance and an equalizer performance of a receiver by buffering and re-permitting a signal which is interference-removed when repetitively adapting an equalizer and removing interference. CONSTITUTION: A matched filter(120) match-filters a signal received from an antenna(101). A control circuit generates different phase information about other cell of at least one cell of oneself. A multi cell pseudo-random noise generating device(420) generates a pseudo noise codes about the cell based on phase information. The multi cell channel estimator(410) uses the pseudo noise codes and the filtered signal and estimates channel estimating value about the cells. The multi cell adaptive equalizer uses the channel estimation value, models a signal transmitted from the cells and similar random signals and generates a filter coefficient. An equalizer finite impulse response filter(170) uses and equalizes the filtered signal and the filtered coefficient.
