Abstract: PURPOSE: An optical disc drive having a tilt controller is provided to obtain excellent recording and/or reproducing characteristics for various discs by using the tilt controller. CONSTITUTION: An optical disc drive includes a spindle motor(130), an optical pick-up unit(120), and a tilt controller. The spindle motor has a turntable(140) on which a disc is mounted and rotates the disc. The optical pick-up unit is set on a main base(110) and slides in the radial direction of the disc to access the disc. The tilt controller varies a tilt of the radial direction in response to a degree of warping of the disc mounted on the turntable so as to dynamically offset a difference between the tilt of the disc and the tile of the optical pick-up. The tilt controller includes a motor base(150) rotated in the radial direction, a member(180) having a cam track(182) for rotating the motor base in the radial direction, and a motor(190) for driving the member.
