Abstract: The present invention relates to a display device and a method for controlling the same. The display device comprises: an image processing unit for processing an image signal; a display unit for displaying the processed image signal as an image; a user input unit for receiving a user input; and a control unit which controls the display unit to display a cursor which moves in response to a position of the user input when the user input is received, as an icon representing an operation status of the user input. Convenience of user input is improved by immediately giving feedback for an input result without disconnecting interaction under operation since the user can intuitively recognize the operation status of the user input.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a two tub type washing machine enhancing an opening and closing structure of an opening. Provided according to an aspect of the present invention is the two tub type washing machine comprising: a housing forming an exterior and arranged in one body with a washing tub, where a washing is operated; an upper cover for covering the upper part of the housing; a dehydration tub performing dehydration and including a dehydration tank arranged at the inner side of the housing; a first opening arranged at the upper cover for taking in or out laundry and connected to the washing tub; a second opening connected to the dehydration tub; and an opening and closing member capable of opening and closing the first opening and being slidable between the first opening and the second opening. The present invention fixes the opening and closing member at one side of the two tub type washing machine and makes the opening and closing member movable between the opening arranged at the washing tub and the opening arranged at the dehydration tub, thereby preventing the opening and closing member from being separated from the two tub type washing machine and not needing other special space for preserving the opening and closing member.
