본 발명은 이동 통신 네트워크에서 영상 통화가 발생했을 때 영상 통화를 설정할 엑세스망을 선택하는 것과 관련된 것으로, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 이동 통신 시스템에서 사용자 단말의 통신 방법은, 영상통화 호 설정을 위한 요청 메시지를 전송하는 단계; CSFB(Circuit Switched fall back)을 위한 스위칭 명령을 수신하는 단계; 및 상기 스위칭 명령이 지시하는 선택된 대상 셀이 2G 셀이고 상기 사용자 단말이 접속 가능한 3G 셀이 존재하는 경우, 상기 3G 셀로 스위칭하여 영상통화 호 설정을 하는 단계;를 포함할 수 있다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 영상통화가 발생한 경우, 영상통화를 지원할 수 있는 망으로 사용자 단말을 빠르게 스위칭할 수 있다.

The present invention relates to a device and a method for controlling a standby mode in which a communication processor performs a predetermined operation by being switched between a sleep mode and an active mode in a wireless terminal provided with an application processor and the communication processor. To this end, when switching to the sleep mode is required, a normal mode, in which operation is performed on the basis of an external memory, is switched to an internal mode in which operation is performed on the basis of an internal memory, and then a control program according to an active mode in the internal memory is loaded from the internal memory in response to the switching to the internal mode. Among dependent variables and parameters used in the normal mode, a dependent variable and a parameter to be used in the control program according to the loaded idle mode are set, and waking up from the sleep mode is periodically performed so as to perform an operation due to running of the control program according to the idle mode loaded in the internal memory.

The present invention relates to a method for switching a call in a user equipment (UE) which supports a voice call continuity (VCC) method in a mobile communication system which includes: a step of detecting the necessity of voice call switching from a first access network to a second access network while transmitting/receiving voice data in the first access network through an existing bearer which is configured with an opponent UE; a step of performing setup operation for new bearer setup operation with the second access network; and a step of transmitting/receiving voice data with the opponent UE in the first access network through the existing bearer until a predetermined time point and transmitting/receiving voice data with the opponent UE in the second access network through the new bearer. An error processing device in downlink feedback channel about uplink common channel using synchronous hybrid automatic request and a method thereof are provided to efficiently transmit/receive a packet by processing and detecting an error in a downlink feedback channel by a terminal. A communications interface(314) communicates with a different node. A higher layer(350) is a logic layer, and performs a session management which is performed by communication with a higher layer(310) of a terminal. If an error is generated in a received packet, a HARQ(Hybrid Automatic Request) part(352) performs packet managing function for requesting retransmission. A communications interface(354) communicates with the terminal, and includes a wireless processing part and a base band processing part. The wireless processing part changes a signal received in an antenna to a base band signal, and sends the base band signal to the base band processing part.

An apparatus for generating MAC(Media Access Control) protocol data unit capable of reducing size of MAC header in mobile communications system and method thereof are provided to generate a MAC header having a size of a predetermined length field according to a LCID(Logical Channel IDentification). A method for generating MAC protocol data unit capable of reducing size of MAC header in mobile communications system comprises the following steps: a step for confirming a LCID of a MAC SDU(Service Data Unit) for multiplexing(502); a step for setting up a size of a length field about each MAC SDU by confirming a size of a predetermined length field according to each LCID(504); and a step for generating a MAC header having the LCID and the predetermined length field about each MAC SDU(508).

A data processing method of a mobile communication system and a device thereof are provided to perform a header process and a payload data process in parallel, while two memory devices can carry out parallel processing without sharing a bus. Two dual port memories are separated into a downlink memory(710) and an uplink memory(720) by using internal memories. Each one port of the respective memories is connected to a bus matrix(730) while the other ports are connected to IP(Internet Protocol) devices such as a modem(760), an external interface device(750), and an encryption/decryption unit(740) through a direct bus. Further, the IP(Internet Protocol) devices contain a DMA(Direct Memory Access).
