PURPOSE: A pointing device and a display device with the same are provided to effectively display an image on a screen wherein the image is based on the track of a light beam which is projected on a screen. CONSTITUTION: A pointing device(200) generates an optical beam. The pointing device projects the optical beam onto a screen. A camera(300) senses the track of an optical beam imaged on the screen. An image processing unit(400) displays an image corresponding to the track of the optical beam detected by the camera on the screen. The pointing device includes a first optical unit, a second optical unit, and a switching circuit unit. The switching circuit unit selectively applies power to either one of the first optical unit or the second optical unit.

PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for improving brightness in visible light communication using an LED(Light Emitting Diode) are provided to improve a brightness function and have the performance having excellent bit error rate. CONSTITUTION: A channel coding unit(510) generates an input signal of n bits to which K bits generated from a bit adder is added into the codewords of p bits. The codewords of the p bits are generated for the same input signal received from the input unit. A bit selector selects one from the codewords of p bits generated for the same input signal through the channel coding unit. A modulating unit(520) modulates the codewords selected through the bit selector for the data transmission.

PURPOSE: A data transmission system capable of forwarding data using a plurality of antennas is provided to enhance the data transmission efficiency by eliminating the Interference between signals which are transmitted by antennas. CONSTITUTION: A channel estimator(520) presumes the wireless channel condition to a receiving antenna of relay from a transmission antennas of base station, and generates the channel state matrix based on the presumed radio channel. A transmitting terminal selecting unit(540) selects at least one transmitting terminal among the terminals connected to relay based on the channel condition matrices. A receiver(510) generates a receiving vector including a terminal data and a base station data. A decoder(550) decodes the sum of base station data and terminal data based on the channel condition matrices.

An image signal selection method and an image processing apparatus are provided to allow a user to select a desired one among a plurality of image signals easily in the image processing apparatus capable of processing various image signals as well as a broadcasting signal. An input unit(160) allows a user to input an image signal selection key value for recognizing an image signal selection execution command for selecting one of a plurality of image signals. A storing unit(151) stores a plurality of image signal names corresponding to a plurality of the image signals. A control unit(150) sets the first display mode or the second display mode having directionality in which the display order of the image signal names is mutually opposite in response to a receiving time of the image signal selection key value, and displays the image signal names according to the set display mode by one by one.

PURPOSE: A device and a method for obtaining optimized transmission rate by using multi light emitting diode are provided to transmit data by calculating maximum transmission rate with each data when transmitting two different data at the same tiem. CONSTITUTION: A controller performs singular value decomposition about provided channel if a plurality of data is inputted. The controller calculates the modulation size value of many data through the performed specified value decomposition. The controller calculates the transmission rate of the data by using the modulation size value. Two modulators(211,213) modulates data according to the obtained modulation size and transmission rate. A transmission unit transmits the modulated data.

PURPOSE: A document display device and a method thereof are provided to maintain a page changing speed irrelevant to the configure content of a document by using an image caching. CONSTITUTION: An image processing unit(110) displays a document including a plurality of pages. A memory unit(120) stores a unit configure elements configuring the document and an image data which configures an individual unit configuring elements. A control unit(130) generates an image data corresponding to the page, which is being predicted to be converted among the pages, and stores the image data to a memory unit. If a page change is requested by a user, the control unit displays an image data corresponding to the requested page among the stored image data to the image processing unit.
