Abstract: A display substrate, a method for manufacturing the same, and a display device having the same are provided to prevent the patterning defect of connection lines to electrically connect guard rings with pads from being generated at the stepped part of an organic insulating layer by forming the connection lines before the formation of the organic insulating layer. A display substrate comprises a substrate, guard rings(20), and connection lines(15). The substrate comprises a plurality of active areas. Each active area comprises a pixel area(A) where a plurality of unit pixels(P) are defined and a circumferential area(CA) where a pad to supply signals to the pixel area is formed. The guard rings are formed on the substrate so as to respectively enclose the active areas. The guard rings on the same layer as pixel electrodes(PE) which are formed at the unit pixels. The connection lines, formed on a different layer from the guard rings, electrically connect the guard rings with the pads.

Abstract: A dual-sided display device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to extend a reflection region of a reflection pixel to a transmission storage capacitor region of a transmission pixel, thereby increasing the aperture ratio of the reflection pixel and preventing the signal distortion between the transmission pixel and the reflection pixel. Abstract: A display panel is provided to connect a test charging unit configured of a capacitor to a test TFT(Thin Film Transistor) to reduce a rising time in a pixel. A display panel includes an array substrate(100), a color filter substrate and a liquid crystal layer. The array substrate includes a base substrate(110) divided into a first region and a second region, gate lines(120) formed in the first region, data lines(130) formed in the first region to intersect the gate line, a pixel(140) controlled by signals applied to the gate line and the data line, a test switch(170) formed in the second region and connected to one end of each data line, a test charging unit(180) formed in the first region and connected to the other end of each data line, and a test signal applying unit(190) which is formed in the second region and applies a test signal for testing the pixel to the test switch and the test charging unit. Abstract: 표시 특성을 향상시키면서 반사 모드에서 시야각과 시인성을 개선할 수 있는 액정 표시 장치가 개시된다. 조명부와 액정 패널과의 사이에는 광을 일부는 반사시키고 일부는 투과시키는 선택반사형 편광 필름을 배치하고, 액정 패널과 선택반사형 편광 필름 사이에는 확산 부재가 점착된 편광 필름이 배치된다. 확산 부재가 형성된 편광 필름은 선택반사형 편광 필름을 통과한 광을 확산하여 출사한다. 따라서 액정 표시 장치의 표시 특성 및 시야각을 향상시킬 수 있고, 반사 모드에서의 시야각 및 반사율을 증가시켜 시인성을 개선할 수 있다.
