Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for providing information using a portable terminal are provided to intuitively offer information about various applications using one application. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(300) executes an execution screen which is composed of a plurality of information display areas. A controller(400) controls the application execution which is associated with the information where an interaction is inputted. The controller controls the display of actual data coping with the information display area when executing the application. The display areas display each converted information corresponding to the display format of each area.
