본 발명에 따른 세탁기는 동작 제어를 위한 회로기판이 내부에 설치된 컨트롤패널과, 회로기판에 회전가능하게 설치되어 회전하며 기능이 선택되게 하는 회전스위치와, 컨트롤패널에 마련된 관통공을 관통하여 설치되며 회전스위치와 연결되어 외부로부터 전달된 힘을 회전스위치에 전달하는 다이얼노브와, 환 형상으로 형성되어 관통공에 설치되며 회전스위치를 통해 선택할 수 있는 기능들이 표시되어 있는 엔코더와, 회전스위치를 중심으로 원주 방향으로 서로 이격되게 회로기판에 설치된 다수의 발광소자와, 회로기판에 설치되어 발광소자에서 발생한 빛을 엔코더로 안내하는 안내브래킷을 포함한 것으로, 안내브래킷에는 엔코더를 지지하여 엔코더가 안내브래킷의 소정 위치에 배치된 상태로 관통공에 설치되게 하는 위치고정리브가 형성되어 위치고정리브를 통해 엔코더의 위치와 발광소자들의 위치를 정확하게 일치시킬 수 있게 되므로, 이를 통해 외관 품질 향상을 꾀할 수 있게 되는 효과가 있다.

CONSTITUTION: A rib(20c) is formed at both sides of the redial direction of the residual water hole(20b). A rotating tub is rotated for high speed dehydration. Water runs into the residual water hole. The water passing through the residual water hole collides with the rib to reduce a phenomenon that water moves along the inner side of the diaphragm.

Abstract: A washing machine is provided to match the position of an encoder to the positions of a plurality of light emitting elements by installing the encoder in a through hole at the state that the encoder is placed on a predetermined location of a guide bracket. A washing machine comprises a control panel(15), a rotary switch(19), a dial knob(16), an encoder(18), a plurality of light emitting elements(20), a guide bracket(21), and a positioning rib(21d). The positioning ribs are formed on the guide bracket and support the encoder in order to install the encoder to a through hole(15a) of the control panel at the state that the encoder is placed on a predetermined location of the guide bracket. The positioning ribs are separated from each others around a shaft installation unit(21a), where a shaft of the rotary switch is installed.

CONSTITUTION: A washing machine includes a housing(10) forming the outer body; a control box(50) embedding a circuit board for controlling operation of the washing machine; a box cover(60) covering and protecting the control box; and an electric component cover(25) installed in the rear part of the housing to protect electric components mounted in the rear end of the housing by covering. The control box and the box cover are installed in the rear part of the housing by plural fitting hooks, and the upper end of the box cover is fitted to the electric component cover. The box cover is prevented from being separated from the upper cover and the housing by fitting into the electric component cover.
