Abstract: PURPOSE: A dish washer is provided to reduce the washing time, to increase the energy consumption efficiency and to expand the life of a heater by heating air having low specific heat inside a washing tub previously and generating hot water through the heated air. CONSTITUTION: A case(302) having an opening portion is arranged inside a door(206). A blow fan(306), a heater(308) and a fan motor(304) are installed inside the case. In heating the heater, air inside the case is heated. In operating the blow fan, the heated air is supplied into a washing tub(204). A part of the fan motor is fixed in the inner surface of the door by partially protruding through the rear face of the case. The fan motor is fixed inside the case if necessary. A panel shaped member(312) having many through holes(312a) is installed in the opening of the case. Air is flowed between the washing tub and the case through the through holes. The part of water in the washing tub is heated by flowing into the case through the through holes. The heated water is supplied to the washing tub by draining through a drain hole(312b) under the plate shaped member. The heating of air and water inside the washing tub is performed simultaneously when the water is supplied to the washing tub and a hot air generator is operated at the same time.
