Abstract: PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to protect electrically a PCB(Printed Circuit Board) and to efficiently discharge the heat generated from the PCB by using a substrate protecting member made of metal, thereby enhancing display quality. CONSTITUTION: The LCD(800) includes an LCD module(600) for generating light and display an image, a rear case(700) for receiving the LCD module and a front case(750) for fixing the LCD module to the case. The LCD module includes an LCD panel assembly(100) for displaying the image by using light. The back light assembly(200) generates light and provides the light to the LCD panel assembly. A mold frame(300) receives the back light assembly and the LCD panel assembly. A top chassis(400) is combined with the mode frame. A protective member(500) covers a PCB and discharges the heat generated from the PCB.
