Abstract: An LCD device and a method of compensating for image signal thereof are provided to compensate for the variation characteristics of liquid crystal by compensating for image signals based on ambient temperature. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device includes plural pixels, image signal processors(620,630), and a look-up table. The pixels include first and second sub-pixels. The image signal processors output a first image signal corresponding to a data voltage applied to the first sub-pixels and a second image signal corresponding to a data voltage applied to the second sub-pixels. The look-up table stores compensation values according to temperatures on first and second image signals. The image signal processor determines at least one compensation value of the first and second image signals based on values stored in the look-up table.
