Abstract:
본 발명은, 회선망과 패킷망간의 연동 서비스를 위한 패킷 서비스 이동 교환기를 구비하고 다양한 억세스 망이 중첩된 이동통신 시스템에서, 이동단말이 음성 및 데이터 서비스를 제공받기 위한 방법에 있어서, 상기 이동단말이 회선 망 서비스에 접속된 상태에서 패킷 데이터를 제공받는 경우 패킷 데이터를 제공받기 위한 최적의 억세스 망을 선택하여 선택된 억세스 망으로 전환하는 과정과, 상기 이동단말이 패킷 망에 접속된 상태에서 회선 망 서비스를 제공받는 경우 상기 음성 및 패킷 데이터에 관한 서비스 요구 사항을 근거로 최적의 억세스 망을 선택하여 선택된 억세스 망으로 전환하는 과정과, 상기 전환된 억세스 망으로 등록을 요청하는 과정과, 상기 전환된 억세스 망으로 등록이 완료되면, 상기 패킷 데이터를 착신하는 과정을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 헤테로지니어스 네트워크, CDMA 1x 망, 1xEVDO 망, 무선 LAN/MAN 망, 헤테로지니어스 서비스 이동 교환기(HSMG), Hybrid operation, HAT.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for managing mobility of an AT in a mobile communication system, and a system thereof are provided to enable a dormant AT to prevent a loss of packet data transmitted from a packet core network even when a subnet area is expanded, and reduce frequent A13 message transceiving between a target SC/MM and a source SC/MM caused by frequent movement of the AT, thereby reducing entire loads of the system. A mobile communication system comprises the followings: a PCF(Packet Control Function)(430a) which is included in a subnet(500), and periodically transmits a sector parameter message for periodically indicating the current location of an AT(410), to the AT(410) located in the subnet(500); the AT(410) which receives the sector parameter message from the PCF(430a), checks whether the AT(410) has moved only in the same subnet(500) or to a different subnet(502) and transmits a UATI(Universal Access Terminal Identifier) request message to an SC/MM(Session Control/Mobility Management) unit(440a) if the AT(410) has moved to the different subnet(502); and an SC/MM unit(440b) which manages the subnet(502) including at least two PCFs(430b,430c,430d) for providing packet data to the AT(410), assigns a UATI(Unicast Access Terminal Identity) effective only in the subnet(502), and manages session information of the AT(410) located within the subnet(502).
Abstract:
A system and method for providing a data push service through a heterogeneous network are provided to minimize correction matters requested for existing network elements when push data is transmitted. A PPG(PUSH Proxy Gateway)(205) selects an optimum access network by obtaining connection information of a mobile terminal for transmitting push data from a PSMG(Packet Service Mobility Gateway)(210) according to a push data transmission request received from outside, and transmits the push data through the selected optimum access network. A PI(Push Initiator)(200) generates push data to be transmitted to a specific mobile terminal, is connected with the PPG(205) wirelessly or through a fixed line to request transmission of the generated push data to the specific mobile terminal.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method and a device for supplying voice and data services in a mobile communication system where various access networks are overlapped together are provided to add a PSMG(Packet Service Mobility Gateway) under heterogeneous network environment, thereby interworking a line network with a packet network while seamlessly supplying voice/packet services to users. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal(HAT)(1) transmits a registration message to a BSCc(141) to receive an access permission(610), and sends self position information to an MSC/VLR(133) and an HLR(131) through the BSCc(141)(620). If the HLR(131) receives position registration information of the mobile terminal(HAT)(1) from the MSC/VLR(133)(630), the HLR(131) transmits a notify message to a PSMG(110) to inform the PSMG(110) that the mobile terminal(HAT)(1) is connected to a line network(640). The PSMG(110) sets state information of the mobile terminal(HAT)(1) to an 'on circuit' state.
