Abstract: A color image scanning apparatus and a method thereof are provided to reproduce a desired color in scanning certain photographic paper. A storage unit(108) includes a look-up table including correction values obtained by correcting the first color data, which has been obtained as the first photographic paper including a plurality of color patches are scanned, according to the type of the photographic paper. Abstract: An apparatus and a method for correcting gray data are provided to provide consistent, high quality color data which is not influenced by the subject of a user. A converting unit(210) converts RGB data inputted to a source device into certain color data by using a color appearance model. A correcting unit(220) maps a chromaticity value of gray data into a certain numerical value in a color space including the converted color data as a component. The converting unit calculates a chroma value by converting the RGB data into HSV data. A controller(230) checks whether the chroma value is within a certain pre-set range based on the gray data. Abstract: A noise reducible motor is provided to simply reduce a motor noise by changing a structure of a motor case without installing a separate unit and to increase the cooling efficiency of the motor by forming ribs around the motor case.
