Abstract: 본 발명은 휴대용 단말기에서 관한 것으로, 휴대용 단말기에서 블루투스 기기를 사용하기 위한 장치에 있어서, 블루투스 통신부를 통해 검색한 주변 블루투스 기기를 표시부에 디스플레이하고, 디스플레이한 상기 블루투스 기기 중 하나를 입력부를 통해 선택하고 연결하여, 상기 블루투스 기기와 연동하는 애플리케이션에 대한 정보를 독출하여 해당 애플리케이션을 디스플레이하는 제어부와, 모든 블루투스 장치와 연동하는 애플리케이션에 대한 정보를 저장하고 있는 메모리부를 포함하여, 휴대용 단말기 주변의 블루투스 장치를 검색하여 해당 블루투스 장치를 선택하면 상기 블루투스 기기와 연동하는 애플리케이션에 대한 정보를 독출하여 디스플레이하여 줌으로써 사용자가 직접 애플리케이션을 찾아 실행하는 불편함을 해결할 수 있다.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for using a Bluetooth device in a portable terminal are provided to reduce the inconvenience of searching for an application interfaced with a Bluetooth device in person by searching for adjacent Bluetooth devices, extracting information for an application interworking with a function a selected Bluetooth device provides, and displaying it. An apparatus for using a Bluetooth device in a portable terminal comprises a control part(130), a Bluetooth communication part(100), a display part(140), a memory part(110), and an input part(120). The control part(130) searches for adjacent Bluetooth devices through the Bluetooth communication part(100) and displays them on the display part(140). If the user selects one of the displayed Bluetooth devices through the input part(120) and makes a connection, the control part(130) extracts information about an application interworking with the selected Bluetooth device and displays the application. The memory part(110) stores information about applications which interwork with various Bluetooth devices.
