Abstract:
본 발명은 쉐도우 영역 보상 방법 및 장치에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 어두운 영역에 대하여는 주변 휘도를 고려하여 휘도를 많이 향상시키고, 밝은 영역에 대하여는 휘도를 덜 향상시키는 쉐도우 영역 보상 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 일 실시예에 따른 쉐도우 영역 보상 방법은 영상 정보를 가진 픽셀과 픽셀의 주위에 위치하는 픽셀의 휘도를 반영하여 대표 루미넌스(L av )를 산출하는 단계, 산출된 대표 루미넌스를 이용하여 보상 휘도비를 결정하는 단계 및 보상 휘도비에 의하여 출력 휘도를 상승시키는 단계를 포함한다. 휘도 향상, 쉐도우 보상, 히스토그램, 영상 파라미터, 공간 휘도, 대표 루미넌스(Representative Luminance), 어댑티브 루미넌스(Adaptive Luminance)

A liquid crystal panel assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a liquid crystal panel which displays an image, a backlight unit which is arranged in the back of the liquid crystal panel and emits light to the liquid crystal panel, a packing unit for packing the liquid crystal panel and the backlight unit into one module, and at least one dummy member which is arranged to occupy a space in the back of the backlight unit in the packing unit.

A liquid crystal display panel according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a top plate, a bottom plate, and a liquid crystal layer which is received between the top plate and the bottom plate. The top plate includes a front glass substrate, a color filter layer which is formed on the rear of the front glass substrate, and a front polarization film which is attached to the front side of the front glass substrate. The color filter layer includes a plurality of unit color filters and a black matrix for separating the unit color filters. A plurality of patterns for recognizing a coordinate are formed on the front side of the top plate to correspond to N unit color filters one to one.

PURPOSE: A display device and an object display method thereof are provided to sense a touch by using fingers or other objects as well as an electronic pen. CONSTITUTION: A first touch sensing unit(110) senses user input with a first input mode. A second touch sensing unit(120) senses the user input with a second input mode. A coordinate calculating unit(130) calculates a coordinate value sensed by the first and the second touch sensing units. If the user touch is simultaneously sensed by the first and the second touch sensing units, a control unit(140) determines single or multi touch input by comparing the coordinate value sensed by the first and the second touch sensing units. PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for capturing markerless motion are provided to capture the motion of an operator without attaching a marker or sensor to a body of the operator. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for capturing markerless motion includes a motion trajectory information determination unit(210), a silhouette tracing unit(230) and a joint detection unit(250). The motion trajectory information determination unit determines the motion trajectory from an image by calculating the body information of an operator. The silhouette tracing unit traces the silhouette of the operator in the image. The joint detection unit detects the joints of the operators based on the motion trajectory and the silhouette.

A method and an apparatus for detecting and removing a false contour, a method and an apparatus for confirming whether a pixel is a contour, and a method and an apparatus for computing simplicity are provided to detect a false contour and to remove a false contour for only the detected false contour, consequently a detail region can be preserved. An apparatus for detecting and removing a false contour confirms the contour for a pixel of an input image(S101), and calculates the simplicity of the pixel(S102). The apparatus for detecting and removing a false contour determines the false contour based on the simplicity(S103). The apparatus removes the false contour from the input image through a smoothing operation for the false contour(S104).
