    Abstract: The present invention provides an organic light emitting diode which includes a light emitting layer with a host/dopant method including a dopant having an improved horizontal orientation. An embodiment of the organic light emitting diode according to one aspect of the present invention includes: a positive electrode layer; a light emitting layer which is located on the positive electrode layer and includes a dopant containing an Ir(mphmq)_2tmd based phosphorous material and a host including a hole transport material and an electron transport material forming exciplex; and a negative electrode layer which is located on the light emitting layer.
