Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition containing a CD49d inhibitor as an active ingredient to prevent or treat cancer and, more specifically, to a pharmaceutical composition containing a CD49d inhibitor as an active ingredient to prevent or treat cancer, health functional foods for preventing or treating cancer, a method for treating cancer comprising a step of injecting the pharmaceutical composition into individuals, and a composition and a method for diagnosing cancer by measuring the expression level of CD49d. Since the CD49d of the present invention is an appropriate therapeutic target for cancers like breast cancer, the present invention can be applied to develop drugs preventing or treating the cancer by inhibiting the CD49d. The CD49d is also valuable as a marker diagnosis of the cancer, thereby being useful for research and development of the cancer.

PURPOSE: Apolipoprotein (a) which is a protein marker for diagnosing breast cancer, a method for detecting the same, and a kit containing an antibody for the same for diagnosing breast cancer are provided to enhance diagnostic sensitivity and accuracy and to simply diagnose breast cancer using blood from a patient, thereby early diagnosing breast cancer. CONSTITUTION: A method for selectively detecting apolipoprotein (a) with a sequence of sequence number 1 from a blood sample comprises the step of detecting the protein through multiple reaction monitoring using a triple quadrupole mass spectrometer. A kit for diagnosing breast cancer contains information on a target peptide of the protein and a pair of parent and daughter ions of the target peptide for detecting the protein from a blood sample by multiple reaction monitoring.
