    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for decoding a packet including a plurality of blocks. A method of decoding a packet including a plurality of blocks according to one embodiment of the present invention includes the following steps: obtaining a plurality of blocks constituting a packet; extracting a plurality of codeword candidates corresponding to the blocks; obtaining some codeword candidates among the codeword candidates corresponding to the blocks in a descending order of posterior probabilities; obtaining combinations of the codeword candidates by combining some codeword candidates; selecting a combination of codeword candidates having the highest posterior probability and having no error in a CRC check from the combinations of the codeword candidates; and decoding the selected combination of codeword candidates. According to one embodiment of the present invention, decoding and encoding in units of block can be effectively performed.
