Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition containing Dipterocarpus tuberculatus extract as an active ingredient for preventing or treating inflammatory diseases or autoimmune diseases. The Dipterocarpus tuberculatus extract according to the present invention inhibits the production of NO and PGE, which are inflammation markers induced by LPS, and the expression of signal transduction proteins such as NF-κB, iNOS, COX2, PDK1, etc., which are involved in inflammation or autoimmune activation, and improves immune sites in an animal model, thereby being useful for anti-inflammation or preventing or treating the autoimmune diseases.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition for prevention or treatment of inflammation diseases including archidendron clypearia methanol extract is provided to be able to be used in prevention or treatment of inflammation diseases by suppressing the activation of Src, Syk and IRAK-1, which are tyrosine kinase. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for prevention or treatment of inflammation diseases includes archidendron clypearia methanol extract as an active ingredient. The inflammation diseases include chronic inflammation progressed to a disease condition, an inflammation by generally harmless substances such as pollen, and an inflammation by the autoimmune response such as asthma or rheumatoid arthritis. The inflammation diseases are selected from the group consisting of sepsis, dermatitis, allergy, atopic dermatitis, asthma, conjunctivitis, periodontitis, rhinitis, tympanitis, laryngopharyngitis, tonsillitis, pneumonia, gastric ulcer, gastritis, Crohn's disease, colitis, hemorrhoid, gout, ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatic fever, lupus, fibromyalgia, psoriatic arthritis, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, periarthritis of shoulder, tendinitis, tenosynovitis, peritendinitis, myositis, hepatitis, cystitis, nephritis, Sjogren’s syndrome, multiple sclerosis, acute inflammation diseases and chronic inflammatory diseases. The methanol extract is extracted by applying the pressure of 1,000-2,000 psi at 40-70deg.C and cultivating for 1-5 days after archidendron clypearia is dipped in methanol.
