    Abstract: PURPOSE: A charging apparatus of a portable electronic instrument and a charging method using the same are provided to multiply using time of the portable electronic instrument by charging a sub-charge part for using the portable electronic instrument. CONSTITUTION: A button(110) for data input including character or number is formed in the upper side of a keyboard(100). A printed circuit board(400) is installed in the lower side of the keyboard. A piezoelectric element(200) is installed in the lower side of the printed circuit board. The piezoelectric element is transformed by pressure which is applied to the keyboard. A sub-charge part(300) is electrically connected to the piezoelectric element. A controller secludes electrical connection of the piezoelectric element and the sub-charge part when a signal which informs that charging of the sub-charge part is completed is inputted.
