    Abstract: PURPOSE: A display method, a display apparatus and an optical waveguide body are provided to indicate various colors by emitting all or a part of incident light on a specific position using a light waveguide. CONSTITUTION: A sensor unit(140) comprises a sensor sensing the predetermined environmental data. A light emitting controller(130) controls light output of a light emitting unit according to the environmental information which is detected. A progress light waveguide unit(122) emits the outputted light into one side and propagates the incident light. An object of wave guide is transmitted with the incident light from a progressing waveguide part, and includes an emitting light waveguide unit which emits all or a part of transmitted light.

    Abstract: An optical sensor for measuring mixed gases and a method for measuring mixed gases are provided to measure the concentration of each gas accurately in spite of the change of the surrounding environment like temperature and humidity. An optical sensor for measuring mixed gases comprises a light source(110), and an optical detecting part(180). The light source irradiates the optical signal in mixed gas(140). The optical detecting part measures the concentration of the mixed gas based on each gas through modulated optical signals whose optical characteristic is changed as the optical signal passes through the mixed gas. The optical signal wavelength changes in the wavelength range of the absorption spectrum of the gas to be measured.

    Abstract: An optical biosensor by using the SPR(surface Plasmon resonance) phenomenon is provided to precisely measure the concentration of biological material by using the optical signal and omit the etching process or polishing process in the manufacturing of the optical biosensor. The optical biosensor comprises: an input optical waveguide(10a) which has the first optical converter for converting the core mode into the cladding mode; an optical sensing unit(60) which evanishes the specific wavelength from the wavelengths comprised of the converted cladding mode corresponding to the concentration of biological material; and an output optical waveguide(10b) which has a second optical converter for converting the cladding mode in which the specific wavelength is evanished into the core mode.
