Abstract: 본 고안은 펄스폭 변조(PWM) 파형을 발생시키는 장치에 관한 것으로서, 소프트웨어 방식에 의해서 디지털 회로로 동작되므로 좌우 비대칭 PWM 파형의 발생 및 추가되는 하드웨어의 부담을 줄여 시스템이 구성되며, EPLD(Electrically Programmable Logic Device)의 내부 디지털 회로의 구성에 의해서 PWM 파형의 발생이 조정되고, 회로의 구성은 래치(latch), 카운터(counter), 비교기(comparator)로 이루어져 각 구성부의 역할을 살펴보면 외부 메인프로세서(main processor)에서 가해진 명령이 라이트(write) 신호에 의해 래치에 보관되고 자동 증감되는 업다운카운터(up-down counter)의 출력값과 비교기에 의해서 비교되어져서 "0" 혹은 "1"의 최종 PWM 파형이 발생하게 된다. 이 발생된 PWM 파형은 전력소자의 구동에 필요한 데드타임(dead-time) 시간을 확보한 후 최종적으로 원하는 파형을 얻게 된다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A phase difference removing bypass method is provided to prevent fluctuation of output voltage caused due to the phase difference between input line voltage and output line voltage during bypass operation. CONSTITUTION: A phase difference removing bypass method comprises a first step of judging whether a bypass switch is turned on by checking a bypass switch; a second step of operating an uninterruptable power supply(UPS) as an inverter by opening an input breaker, and reducing output frequency of inverter; a third step of judging whether the voltages of input and output lines have the same phase; and a fourth step of disabling operation of the UPS by opening an output breaker and closing a bypass MC, if the voltages of input and output lines are the same.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A phase difference removal bypass apparatus in an UPS of an APF configuration is provided to remove a phase difference and perform a bypass operation when by-passing the UPS. CONSTITUTION: An input line has an input line voltage(AC). A link inductor(5) is coupled with the input line. An input switch(2) is coupled with the link inductor(5). An input switch MC(3) or an SCR switch(6) is coupled with the input switch(2). An output switch(4) is coupled with the input switch MC(3) or SCR switch(6). An output line is connected to the input line voltage(AC) through a bypass MC(1). The output line has an output line voltage(LO). An IGBT stack(7) is coupled between the input switch MC(3) or SCR switch(6) and the output switch(4). A battery switch(8) is coupled with the IGBT stack(7). A battery(9) is coupled with the battery switch(8).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A transformer characteristic analysis apparatus using inverter is provided to forecast abnormal condition of transformer easily by analyzing frequency characteristic of several parameter clearly at input, output part of transformer. CONSTITUTION: A transformer characteristic analysis apparatus is composed of an inverter(21), a control part(22), and a signal analyser(23). The inverter(21) is connected to a transformer(24) in a series at upper stream of first side of the transformer(24) which power is input to and supplies power to first side of the transformer(24). The signal analyser(23) has electric signal input part of two channel, and a first channel receives and measures input of voltage(V1) and current(I1) which is output from the inverter(21), and a second channel receives and measures input of voltage(V2) and current(I2) which is output from secondary side of the transformer(24), and then the measured signal is transferred to an analysis part. The analysis part analyses frequency of voltage signal and current signal of each channel and outputs characteristic of the transformer by formula or graph.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for controlling a position of an electrode rod and an electric furnace employing the same.
