Abstract: The present invention relates to a hydrogel containing a metal reducing agent wherein adsorption performance and selectivity for the specific metal are improved by including the metal reduction material on the surface or in the inside, and a method for manufacturing the same. The hydro gel according to the present invention contains the metal reduction material such that metal recovering ability can be improved, and addionally, specific valuable metals can be selectively recovered. Addtionally, the method according to the invention is capable of solid-liquid separation in recovering valuable metals so as to simplify the process compared with the existing hydrometallurgical processes, and does not generate a secondary sludge so as to manage the process in a more environment-friendly way. Selective recovering of valuable metals is possible using characteristics of the metal reduction material, and thereby, enabling to efficiently separate and recover valuable metals which is difficult to separate in a water system. Abstract: PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a metal-ionic liquid composite is provided to provide a metal-ionic liquid thin film with uniform physical properties and nanosized thickness. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a metal-ionic liquid composite comprises a step of manufacturing a metal colloid solution by mixing aqueous metal compound into a mixed solution of an ionic liquid and solvent; and a step of coating the metal colloid solution onto a substrate, and evaporating the solvent. The step manufacturing the metal colloid solution is a step of forming a metal nanoparticle by reducing metal ions by the mixed solution. A metal nanoparticle-ionic liquid composite composition comprises an ionic liquid, solvent, and aqueous metal compound.
