Abstract: PURPOSE: Multimedia contents searching method and system of home network are provided to generate searching equations based on a keyword list which is obtained by extracting the characteristic value of multimedia contents and keywords. CONSTITUTION: One or more characteristic values are extracted from multimedia contents(S101). The contents of the characteristic values are extracted as keywords(S103). The keyword list of the keywords is generated(S105). Searching equations for searching the multimedia contents are obtained using the keyword list(S205).
