Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for utilizing vehicle information and an apparatus therefor. The method is configured to comprises the steps of determining whether stream flow is less than a threshold when an operation is started; informing the stream flow information if the stream flow is less than a threshold; and transferring emergency notification information depending on insufficiency of the stream flow to at least one surrounding vehicle through a next generation intelligent transport systems (ITS) communications unit. Therefore, in an emergency, the present invention can inform the state of the vehicle to neighborhood and the user can resolve the emergency quickly.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An airbag system for a vehicle is provided to transmit a message for informing an accident to a designated contact number when an airbag module is operated so that the accident is quickly reported to the police or the emergency services. CONSTITUTION: An airbag system for a vehicle comprises an airbag module(110), a micro controller(120), a communication module(130) for a vehicle, and an infrastructure(140). The micro controller senses the operation of the airbag module. The communication module make wireless communications between a vehicle and an infra structure and between vehicles possible. The infrastructure is installed in a side of roads, thereby wirelessly communicated with the communication module for the vehicle. When the airbag module is operated, the micro controller decides that a vehicle accident is occurred. The micro controller transmits a message for informing the accident and a designated contact number to the communication module for the vehicle. The communication module transmits the message for informing the accident and the designated contact number to the infrastructure. The infrastructure transmits the message to the designated contact number.

Abstract: A wireless sensor node is provided to reduce power consumption and lower the unit cost of a system by removing an MCU from an existing sensor node and integrating a hardware logic which performs only the same function with a sensor modem. A wireless sensor node comprises a sensor unit(210), a sensor controller(220) and a modem unit(240). The sensor unit performs a sensing function for acquiring information. The sensor controller is made of the hardware logic. The hardware logic collects the information, obtained from the sensor unit, generates an MAC frame, and manages a timer. The modem unit transmits standardized sensor data which is outputted from the sensor controller to a corresponding sink node. Abstract: A channel assignment apparatus of an MOST network and a method thereof are provided to increase the number of times a channel is used and expand the bandwidth of the network. Abstract: A device for authenticating electronic toll collection process and an electronic toll collection system using the same are provided to process authentication of the vehicle based on unique vehicle data to prevent illegal usage such as exchange of a smart card or an OBE(OnBoard Equipment).
