Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for changing a digital TV channel are provided to enable a user to watch previously decoded channels when the user wants to change a channel. CONSTITUTION: A digital TV signal of a plurality of broadcast channels is tuned(S11). A video signal is respectively separated from the tuned digital TV signals(S13). Each divided video signal is decoded(S15). One among the respectively decoded video signals is displayed on a TV screen(S17). If a user commands a broadcast channel change, another decoded video signal is displayed on a TV screen(S19,S21).

본 발명의 데이터 방송을 이용한 티-쿠폰 서비스 방법은 기업의 기업서버에서 방송국의 티-쿠폰 관련서버에 티-쿠폰 서비스 신청이 접수되고, 상기 기업의 홍보용 물품을 위해 제작된 티-쿠폰이 기업서버로부터 송신되어 상기 티-쿠폰 관련서버에 저장되면, 상기 티-쿠폰 관련서버는 티-쿠폰과 뷰어 프로그램을 방송에 추가하여 전송하는 제 1단계; 상기 데이터 방송을 통해 전송된 티-쿠폰과 뷰어 프로그램이 가정내 수신기에서 수신되어 뷰어 프로그램이 STB에 자동 설치된 후 TV 화면에 티-쿠폰이 디스플레이되는 제 2단계; 상기 디스플레이된 티-쿠폰을 저장매체에 저장할지 여부를 판별하는 제 3단계 및 상기 저장매체에 저장된 티-쿠폰을 이용하여 물품 구매 여부를 판별하는 제 4단계로 이루어짐에 기술적 특징이 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A bit rate control algorithm according to the type of macroblock coding is provided to be capable of minimizing the degradation of image quality in screen shift by reducing the signal loss and transmission bit rate when digital video signals including a lot of information are transmitted through limited channels. CONSTITUTION: First, the number rate of macroblocks coded into an INTRA mode including total macroblocks coded into MB_INTRA type and macroblocks coded into an INTER mode including total macroblocks coded into types except the MB_INTRA is calculated. Then, the calculated number rate of macroblocks is substituted into a predetermined equation for calculating a final quantization variable. Next, more bits are assigned by reducing the final quantization variables of macroblocks coded into the MB_INTRA type in a P frame and a B frame by the calculated rate. Finally, the first to third steps are repeated for total macroblocks of respective frames.
