Abstract: PURPOSE: A telematics system and control method thereof are provided to pre-fetch information by combining an LRU(least recently used) method and a FAR(Furthest Away Replacement) method. CONSTITUTION: One or more gateways(220) relays information, which is requested from one or more vehicles, from a server(240). A network(230) transfers information, which is transmitted and received from one or more gateways, to the server. One or more servers process information which is transmitted and received through network. The information performs a pre-fetch process by combining an LRU method and a FAR method on a gateway.
