PURPOSE: A scheduling method for a wireless mesh network and apparatus thereof are provided to reduce power consumption by increasing transmission success rates in the wireless mesh network. CONSTITUTION: A slot creation unit(210) creates one or more slots for transmitting a message. A node allocation unit(220) allocates a primary transmission node and a secondary transmission node to each slot. The nodes include a parent node similar with each other. The nodes are adjacent each other. The primary transmission node and the secondary transmission node are determined from brother nodes.

PURPOSE: A system for hybrid telematics network and a method for message scheduling of the same are provided to classify the information collected from a behavior information collection unit into at least one group in order to select the classified information according to a certain standard. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid telematics network system includes a mobile information collection unit(100), a node(200) and a central server(300). At least one information collection unit collects the mobility related information(S501), and at least one node receives the collected mobility related information(S520). The central server classifies the mobile related information into at least one group, wherein the mobility related information is received from at least one node(S530,S540). The central server selects at least one kind of mobility related information that is classified according to a future behavior estimation and the previous transmission ratio thereof(S550).

PURPOSE: A location information processing scheme and a handler based on group management for a location-based service are provided to correct error location information by using common differential information which is applied to the position of different spots at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A first road information extraction unit(210) extracts first road information which is adjacent to the first location information. A first differential information operation unit(220) respectively calculates the differential information between the first road information and the first location information. A second road information extraction unit(230) extracts the second road information which is adjacent to the second location information. A second differential information operation unit(240) calculates the differential information between the second road information and the second location information. A third road information generator(250) generates the third road information corresponding to the third location information. A reference variation information extraction part(260) extracts the standard variation information from the third road information.

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for scheduling a real time message in a mobile ad-hoc sensor network are provided to determine a destination according to a transmitting feature of a message to perform message scheduling, thereby scheduling the message in real time in the ad-hoc sensor network. CONSTITUTION: A queue(410) stores a message for reception or transmission. A scheduler(420) schedules the message to transmit the message of the queue to one of the first and second sync nodes. An importance determining unit(430) determines importance of the stored message for real time scheduling of the scheduler. The scheduler schedules the message based on the importance.

Abstract:
A memory optimization method of a telematics service system based on the virtual link for efficient map matching is provided to remove a disk operation by extracting only essential part from a road network and storing it in the memory. A navigation method storing only a small amount of link data by applying virtual link comprises the following steps. A part of a road network is extracted through an off-line map analysis function and unnecessary vertexes are removed in order to share the network data with the online map matching part for the purpose of map matching. The road network is initialized into a graph consisting of nodes and links. Local map matching is performed at 10 division points of each segment, and whether to add the segment as virtual link to a map matching road network is determined. The determined virtual link is added to the graph and converted into the structure to be loaded in the memory. As to the memory structure, the distance between the coordinate and each link is calculated and the map matching is performed.

An efficient path searching method based on the moving direction of a vehicle in a navigation system is provided to precisely set an optimal path to the destination by considering whether the U-turn is possible near a starting node or not. An efficient path searching method based on the moving direction of a vehicle in a navigation system comprises the steps of: selecting a starting node by considering the traveling direction of the vehicle at a current link; detecting whether the U-turn is possible near the staring node or not; and setting an optimal path to the destination according to the possibility of the U-turn.

PURPOSE: A message transmission method and nodes based on buffering retransmission in a grid-style wireless process control network are provided to increase a message transmission rate by compensating for the high loss rate of multi-hop message transmission. CONSTITUTION: A node 400 transmits the message of a transmission target to a node 407 through the other node 401-406. The node 406 stores the message about transmission failure in a retry queue according to the generation of the transmission failure. The node 410 attempts the transmission of next transmission message to the node 417 through the other node 411-416. The node 416 retransmits the message stored in an earlier transmission round to the node 417.

PURPOSE: A gateway setting up apparatus and method thereof are provided to reduce the interconnection time of a gateway and to improve the connection within the transmission range of a road gateway on a real road network. CONSTITUTION: A gateway setup unit(110) installs a virtual RSU(RoadSide Unit) through a road network system. A counter(120) counts the number of records within each RSU transmission range by using location history information. A gateway assigning unit(130) assigns one or more RSUs according to the number of records. A controller(140) includes the RSU in a final set.
