Abstract: PURPOSE: An input format for analyzing a network packet in Hadoop map reduce is provided to define InputSpilt for each distributed node when performing distributed processing of binary packet data having a variable length record in a Hadoop environment, thereby simultaneously accessing and processing. CONSTITUTION: Information about the beginning and termination time of packet capture is obtained from configuration property. The beginning point of a first packet is searched in a data block required to be processed among data blocks stored in HDFS(Hadoop Distributed File System). InputSplit sets up a boundary between previous InputSplit and its InputSplit with the beginning point of the first packet in order to be defined.
