    Abstract: PURPOSE: An automatically controlled apparatus and method for shielding a reverse current using a magnetic field sensor capable of minimizing the generation of electromagnetic waves and a method thereof are provided to shield electromagnetic waves by applying a reverse current around a wire. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic field generating device(60) generates a leakage magnetic field(611) to be shielded. A magnetic field sensor part(621) transmits a detected leakage magnetic field signal to an EMF(Electromagnetic Field) size detecting part(622) in a controller block by sensing a leakage magnetic field. The EMF size detecting part transmits a size value of a magnetic field to a shield current calculation part(624). A phase detection part(623) detects a phase of the magnetic field from the leakage magnetic field signal detected from the magnetic field detecting part. The shield current calculation part produces proper size and phase values of the shield current flowing in the shielding coil from size and phase information of the leakage magnetic field.
