    Abstract: PURPOSE: A tire abrasion preventing system is provided to measure tire abrasion without installing additional devices in a vehicle by providing a system measuring the tire abrasion in a process in which the vehicle enters into a motor road. CONSTITUTION: A tire abrasion preventing system comprises a sensor(5), an calculating unit(32), and a signal outputting unit(33). The sensor is arranged in an installation groove formed on a road, thereby measuring distances from the sensor to a corrugation formed between the threads and to a thread surface of a tire passing through the upper part of the road. The calculating unit calculates a height from the corrugation formed between the threads to the thread surface using the value measured by the sensor. The signal outputting unit outputs warning signals to a driver of a vehicle when the height calculated by the calculating unit is less than a predetermined value.
