    Abstract: Damping of ultrasound projected to the soft tissure related to the liver disease, is measured by entropy between envelope curves of ultrasonic pulse echo. A numerical formular is formulated by statistical characteristics of sampling data, after an envelope curve is detected from ultrasonic signals received in a time domain. The damping coefficient of the diseased tissue, is calculated by modulation of the damping coefficient in order to equalize the entropy values between two divisions.
