Abstract:
The method for performing the dynamic focusing within desired band includes the steps of: a) delayed sampling the analog signal provided from an arrayed converter continuously with an A/D converter; b) storing the converted digital sampling signal into a memory buffer in sequence; c) reading the stored sampling signal in sequence and converting them to the analog signal with a D/A converter; and d) adding and focusing the converted analog sampling signal with an adder.
Abstract:
Damping of ultrasound projected to the soft tissure related to the liver disease, is measured by entropy between envelope curves of ultrasonic pulse echo. A numerical formular is formulated by statistical characteristics of sampling data, after an envelope curve is detected from ultrasonic signals received in a time domain. The damping coefficient of the diseased tissue, is calculated by modulation of the damping coefficient in order to equalize the entropy values between two divisions.
