Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for energy-efficient SVC-based data communications for a video service differentiated by distances. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for SVC-based data communications comprises the steps of transmitting an SVC type of video layer from a base station to a plurality of terminals; and transmitting, from the base station to the terminals, a reception acknowledgment packet for checking whether the video layer is received. According to another embodiment of the present invention, a method for SVC-based data communications comprises the steps of receiving, from a base station, an SVC type of a video layer, and a reception acknowledgment packet for checking whether the SVC type of the video layer is received; determining whether a video layer corresponding to the reception acknowledgment packet is received when the reception acknowledgment packet is received; and transmitting, to another terminal, an NAC packet that the video layer corresponding to the reception acknowledgment packet has not been received when the video layer is not received.

본 발명의 실시예는 멀티트랙 비디오를 다중 기기로 분배하고 동기화하는 시스템과 그 방법에 대한 것이다. 멀티트랙 비디오 서버로부터 비디오 스트림을 수신하는 수신부; 비디오 스트림의 특성에 따라서 비디오 스트림을 처리하는 처리부; 및 처리된 비디오 스트림을 비디오 재생 장치로 전송하는 송신부를 포함하며, 비디오 스트림의 특성은 단일트랙 비디오 스트림인지 멀티트랙 비디오 스트림인지에 대한 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티트랙 비디오 분배 시스템이 제공될 수 있다.
