Abstract: A system and a method for recognition hand indication in a three dimension are provided to recognize the position indicated by a user and a home appliance placed in the position without additional equipment. A 3D position recognition system includes an image acquisition part(110), a camera correlation information DB(141), a central processing unit(CPU)(120) and a display module(150). The image acquisition part(110) acquires an image from the two cameras. The camera correlation information DB(141) stores correlation information between two cameras. The central processing unit(CPU)(120) recognizes a 3-D position indicated by the hand of a user based on the correlation information and the acquired image. The display module(150) displays the recognition result.
