Abstract: PURPOSE: A bipolar plate for a fuel cell stack is provided to easily seal or separate a channel flowing hydrogen, air, and cooling water by forming proper unevenness on a bipolarplate and to implement process reduction and cost saving. CONSTITUTION: A bipolar plate for a fuel cell stack enables the sealing of a flow path of a bipolar plate without a gasket by forming uneveness(102a,102b,202a,202b) capable of being inserted to each other at the edge of the bipolar plate. The unevenness of the bipolar plate gets narrow from the top and wider to the bottom, or the bipolar plate is formed in a dual unevenness structure.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A separator for a fuel cell stack is provided to improve the efficiency of a fuel cell, to remove constant resistance of separators which are contacted with each other, and to enable mass production by manufacturing a channel part, induction part, and manifold part by a single process using a composite material. CONSTITUTION: A separator for a fuel cell stack comprises a channel part where a plurality of coolant channels(28) are penetrated thereinside and a hydrogen channel(20) and air channel(22) are formed at the position crossing one outer surface and the other surface; an induction part which is integrated at both ends of the channels and has one inside space communicated with each coolant flow path; and a manifold part which is formed at both ends of the induction part.

Abstract: 본 발명에 의한 액화천연가스 저장탱크의 용접불량 검출방법은, 액화천연가스가 저장된 저장공간을 기밀시키기 위해 저장공간을 단열시키기 위한 단열층에 결합된 방벽의 용접 부위에서 용접불량을 검출하기 위한 것으로, a) 단열층과 방벽의 사이에 검출용 기체를 주입하는 단계와, b) 검출용 기체를 감지하여 감지신호를 발생할 수 있는 기체 감지장치를 용접 부위에 접근시켜서 용접 부위 주위의 공기 중에 누출된 검출용 기체가 존재하는지 용접 부위 주위의 공기를 감시(Monitoring)하는 단계를 포함한다. 본 발명에 의하면, 검출용 기체와 이를 감지할 수 있는 기체 감지장치를 이용함으로써 1차 방벽의 넓은 용접 부위에 대해 용접불량을 쉽고 효율적으로 검출할 수 있다.

Abstract: 개시된 본 발명에 의한 연료전지 스택용 엔드플레이트는 일렬로 적층된 복수의 단위셀을 지지하기 위한 것으로, 중앙부가 일측 방향으로 융기되도록 굽은 형상으로 이루어진다. 본 발명에 의한 엔드플레이트는 복수의 단위셀을 지지하기 위해 그 외곽부가 복수의 단위셀 쪽으로 가압될 때 복수의 단위셀에 고른 면압을 가하도록 펴진다. 따라서, 연료전지 스택 내의 수소 및/또는 공기의 누출을 방지하고, 단위셀 간의 전기 접촉저항을 감소시키는 등 연료전지 스택의 성능을 최적으로 유지시킬 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An end plate for a fuel cell stack is provided to ensure light weight and low heat loss, to maintain uniform plane pressure, and to prevent leakage of fluid and the increase of intercell electric contact resistance. CONSTITUTION: An end plate for a sandwich type fuel cell stack comprises a side(10) made of fiber-reinforcing composite materials and maintains a plane after tightening by applying curvature to the side. The side is manufactured by the steps of: symmetrically laminating reinforced fiber within the composite; and molding the laminate by any one method selected from vacuum bag molding, pressure molding and resin transfer molding.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An insulation panel and an LNG(Liquid Natural Gas) storage tank including the same, an insulation panel construction method are provided to maximize thermal insulation by removing the need of fastener holes. CONSTITUTION: An insulation material(33) thermally isolates a storage space. A protective plate(21) is integrally connected to the insulation material and has fastening grooves(22) extended from the side to the inside. A connecting member(25) is fixed to an inner wall by being coupled with the fastening grooves and a bracket fixed to the inner wall. A fastener is positioned in the fastening grooves to fasten the connecting member to the protective plate. The fastening grooves include a deep groove and a shallow groove. A projection(23) is formed between the deep groove and the shallow groove to catch the connecting member.

Abstract: An end-plate for a fuel cell stack is provided to apply uniform face pressure to a plurality of unit cells, to prevent the leakage of hydrogen and/or air within a fuel cell stack, and to reduce electrical contact resistance.
