    Abstract: PURPOSE: A nano gel type electrolyte for a dye-sensitized solar cell which includes nano-silica combined with silyl-propionitrile, a manufacturing method thereof, and the dye-sensitized solar cell using the same are provided to improve photoelectric conversion efficiency and the long-term stability of the dye-sensitized solar cell which uses a liquid electrolyte. CONSTITUTION: A nano-silica powder(100) combined with silyl-propionitrile(200) is manufactured. An ionic liquid system electrolyte is manufactured by mixing an ionic liquid and oxidation-reduction derivative. The ionic liquid system electrolyte is mixed with the nano-silica powder combined with the silyl-propionitrile. The oxidation-reduction derivative is selected from a group comprised of lithium iodide, sodium iodide, potassium iodide, and lithium bromide.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: An electrolyte for dye-sensitized solar cell is provided to improve quantum efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cell by including pyridinium iodide-based ionic liquid. CONSTITUTION: An electrolyte for dye-sensitized solar cell comprises an organic solvent, an oxidation-reduction derivative, a pyridinium iodide-based ionic liquid, and t-butylpyridine. The organic solvent is a mixture of one or two kinds selected from ethylene carbonate, propylene carbonate, dimethyl carbonate, diethyl carbonate, ethyl methyl carbonate, tetrahydrofuran, 3-methoxypropionitrile and gamma-butyrolactone.
