    Abstract: PURPOSE: A combustor to partially premix fuels and oxidants using a pyrolysis effect and a combusting method using the same are provided to partially pyrolyze or reform the fuel by preheating the fuel with partial premixing flames and to stabilize the flame by receiving a heating source from the premixing flames formed by the premixing. CONSTITUTION: A combustor (100) to partially premix fuels and oxidants using a pyrolysis effect comprises a first nozzle (10), a fuel supply member, an oxidant supply member, a second nozzle (20), and a driving member. The first nozzle includes a fuel supply path and an oxidant supply path. The first nozzle is separated from the front surface of the first nozzle in a predetermined gap and forms a premixing path (4) to premix the fuel and the oxidant. The driving member drives the first nozzle or the second nozzle and controls a premixing amount by controlling the predetermined gap.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A kiln type drier using a steam compressor is provided to collect/use all of evaporation latent heat by drying a solid and to promote steam enthalpy by driving a steam turbine without additional power supply. CONSTITUTION: In a kiln type drier, a solid is put into a hopper by a crane(25) and then into a kiln body(1) by a material injector(22) via a rotary valve(5). The solid is dried by heat transfer pipes(16,17) of the kiln body, and evaporated steam therefrom is discharged to a steam discharge portion. The steam loses dispersing dust via a filter(3) and flows into a steam compressor(2). The kiln body has the heat transfer pipes connected to steam header pipes(14) mounted at both sides. The solid is dried in the kiln body effectively by the heat transfer pipes. Herein, if the kiln body has a very large diameter, the heat transfer pipes are divided into four zones. The heat transfer pipes(17) connected toward a blade have the same rotational direction. The heat transfer pipes are dropped at the front end. Therefore, a large amount of solid is dried effectively.
