Abstract:
PURPOSE: A multiuser interference cancellation receiver for a TDD-CDMA(Time Division Duplex-Code Division Multiple Access) system and a method for controlling the interference cancellation are provided to perform interference cancellation for signals having high power values even when differences of signal power values are wide among users, so as to minimize errors in the detection of user signals having low signal power values. CONSTITUTION: A data extractor(100) extracts data from received signals and outputs the extracted data. A signal delay part(200) delays the signals outputted from the data extractor(100) during a predetermined time, and outputs the delayed signals. An interference cancellation selection part(300) extracts midamble signal channels from received original signals, to select and output users of the subject of the first interference cancellation. The first step interference cancellation block(400) receives data of the received signals from the data extractor(100), to perform the first parallel interference cancellation for the selected users of the first interference cancellation subject and output reproduction signals. And the second step interference cancellation block(500) receives data of the received signals delayed during the predetermined time and outputted from the signal delay part(200), to perform the second parallel interference cancellation using the first reproduction signals outputted from the first step interference cancellation block(400).

PURPOSE: A system for receiving an ultra-high performance space-time array of a fading adaptive type and a method thereof are provided to select a correlation length of a pilot channel in adaptable and perform a correlation using a variation amount of a fading channel obtained through a doppler frequency estimation and a data rate of a receiving signal when a pilot channel is correlated for compensating a distortion phenomenon by a fading channel in a reverse direction link of a CDMA wireless communication system applying an array antenna. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of digital beam forming networks(120) perform a space filtering by multiplying a receiving signal which is received from a plurality of antennas and converted into a digital signal by a weight value vector according to each multiple path signal, and forms a beam. A plurality of demodulators(160) demodulate output signals of a plurality of digital beam forming networks. A pilot channel correlator estimates a fading channel using a pilot signal in the demodulators(160). A doppler frequency estimation unit(150) receives an output of the pilot channel correlator and estimates a doppler frequency of the fading channel. A microprocessor(180) supplies data rate information of a received signal and controls a signal flow. A correlation length selection unit(140) receives a doppler frequency estimation value estimated from the doppler frequency estimation unit(150) and a data rate of a received signal and decides a correlation length of the pilot channel correlator. A reference signal generator(170) receives outputs of a plurality of fingers and generates a reference signal. A plurality of weight value vector estimators receive an output of the reference signal generator(170) and the receiving signal and supplies the digital beam forming network(120).

PURPOSE: An apparatus for operating a forward beam formation weight value in a spreading CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) BTS(Base Transceiver Station) using an array antenna, and a system for forming a forward beam using the same and a method therefor are provided to simply its structure, minimize interference to other terminals, and enhance a power emitted at an angle in which a desired terminal is located by performing beam formation using a response vector instead of channel information received from the terminal. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of normalizers(201) normalize receipt array response vectors in which the transfer function component of a receiving unit is removed, remove fading components, and obtain receipt antenna response vectors. A plurality of antenna response converters(202) convert the receipt antenna response vectors obtained in a plurality of normalizers(201) into transmission antenna response vectors. A plurality of vector outer product arithmetic units(203) receive the transmission antenna response vectors from a plurality of antenna response converters(202) and generate a space correlation matrix to each user using vector outer product. A matrix adder(204) receives the space correlation matrixes from a plurality of vector outer product arithmetic units(203), adds the received space correlation matrixes, and generates a space correlation matrix to all users. An inverse matrix arithmetic unit(205) receives the space correlation matrix to all users from the matrix adder(204) and obtains an inverse matrix. A plurality of matrix multipliers(206) multiply the inverse matrix received from the inverse matrix arithmetic unit(205) and the transmission antenna response vectors received from a plurality of antenna response converters(202), and operate forward beam formation weight values.

PURPOSE: An efficient structure demodulator is provided to utilize not only information in a time area but also information in a space area. CONSTITUTION: A correlator bank(112) receives a digital base band signal(101) to calculate a correlation with a local code sequence. A beam forming calculator(102) receives the digital base band signal(101) to calculate a beam forming weight factor based upon the correlated value of the correlator bank(112). A beam forming multiplier(110) for a finger receives the digital base band signal(101) to multiply the beam forming weight factor(115) and then process a summing. A beam forming multiplier(104) for a searcher receives the digital base band signal(101) to multiply the beam forming weight factor(103) and then process a summing. A searcher bank(106) receives an output signal from the beam forming multiplier(104). A finger bank(109) receives an output signal from the beam forming multiplier(110) to perform a multipath tracking based upon an output signal(108) of the searcher bank(106), and supply a multipath tracking signal to the correlator bank(112). A multipath coupler(117) receives a multipath tracking result signal from the finger bank(109) to process a multipath coupling and output a result to a decoder.

본 발명은 무선 통신시스템에 관한 것으로 특히, 옥내외 60~600미터의 반경 내에서 대역확산 코드 한 개를 공통으로 사용하여 기지국(base station:BS)과 다수의 이동 단말기(mobile terminal:MT)들 사이에서 복수개의 패킷을 동시에 수신처리할 수 있도록 TDD(Time Division Duplex)방식을 사용하는 지역 무선 패킷 통신시스템에 관한 것이다.

PURPOSE: A signal transmission-receipt device and a method thereof for removing MPI signal in a multiple antenna communications system are provided to transmit and receive the signal by using pre-rake. CONSTITUTION: A continuous orthogonal spreading code generating unit(210) generates continuous orthogonal spreading code. A spread modulation unit(220) performs the spreading modulation of the user signal by using continuous the orthogonal spreading code. The dispersion modulator generates the spread signal. A pre-rake combination unit(230) combines pre-rake with the spread signal. The pre-rake combiner is created the pre-rake signal. A multiple antenna unit transmits a pre-rake signal through a plurality of antennae.
