    Abstract: A method and an apparatus for controlling handoff through mobility prediction of a mobile terminal are provided to measure change of signal strength to predict previously that the mobile terminal is deviated from a current service zone, thereby performing fast handover processes and preventing frequent handover performance at an inter-network boundary zone. A method for controlling handoff through mobility prediction of a mobile terminal comprises the following steps of: periodically measuring signal strength of the mobile terminal at a current network and a neighboring network, and storing the measured value in a queue before updating the queue so as to maintain at least two latest measured values(S10,S12); periodically calculating an inclination of each signal strength of the current network and the neighboring network by using the signal strength measured values of the current network and the neighboring network stored in the queue, and predicting whether handover is necessary(S14,S16); and if so, instructing a handover command(S18).

    Abstract: A root mobile router in a dynamic mobile network and its operation method are provided to utilize a mobile terminal as a mobile router in a situation that a mobile object does not have a function as a mobile router. A network selecting module(411) selects a connection network suitable for a mobile network or determines whether a previously selected connection network has been changed or not. A handover processing module(412) maintains connectivity between each mobile node connected with a mobile router of the mobile network and the Internet through the connection network. A routing protocol module(416) transfers an IP packet generated from the mobile node to the Internet through the connection network. A root mobile router selecting module(415) selects one of a plurality of mobile routers and sets it as a root mobile router.     Abstract: A method for constructing a WiBro(Wireless Broadband) network environment by using a wireless LAN(Local Area Network) environment is provided to be capable of constructing a similar wireless communication environment to a WiBro network by using a wireless LAN, thereby testing a network conversion function between the WiBro network and a CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) network as well as a WiBro wireless communication function.
