본 발명은 네트워크 통합 제어 성능 시험을 위한 네트워크 노드 시뮬레이션 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 가상 노드 시뮬레이션 장치에 있어서, SNMP 정보와 관련된 MIB 기반의 가상관리객체 정보가 저장되는 가상관리객체DB와, 네트워크 관리 시스템의 네트워크를 관리하는 SNMP 관리스테이션으로부터 요청된 SNMP 정보가 네트워크 관리 시스템별로 설치되어, SNMP 정보를 수집하고 관리하는 SNMP 관리장치를 통해 수신되면, 가상관리객체 정보를 참조하여 가상의 결과값을 출력하고, SNMP 관리장치를 통해 SNMP 관리스테이션에 전송하는 가상 처리부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. Abstract:
A method for recognizing a policy control target equipment and controlling a hierarchical policy to offer the IP communication service and an apparatus thereof are provided to extract access network configuration information dynamically, and improve the control method for policies related to component equipments within an access network. A subscriber IP address receiver(810) receives the IP address of a subscriber terminal in which an IP packet network connection is authenticated. A path tracking unit(820) traces the path to the subscriber terminal by using the received IP address of the subscriber terminal as a destination. A equipment detecting unit(830) detects equipments comprising an access network which are connected to the subscriber terminal from the result of the path tracing. A policy control unit(840) controls IP communications service policies related to the detected equipments.
Abstract:
Provided are a method and an apparatus for periodically measuring speech quality in a voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) terminal while a VoIP call between VoIP terminals is in progress. The method comprises: receiving summary information regarding traffic sent from an opposite VoIP terminal; and evaluating speech quality by comparing the summary information with actually received information regarding the traffic sent from the opposite VoIP. Accordingly, each VoIP terminal can precisely evaluate the speech quality periodically and send the evaluation result to each other.

A method for managing the network resources of multimedia services in a broadband convergence network is provided to enable a resource authentication control server to collect LSP resources, allocate an available bandwidth to each service, and compare available resources with required resources to determine whether the required resources are available, thereby performing the authentication and control of resources for multi-service applications in an integrated network. A transmission resource controller(108) of a resource authentication control server(106) requires and collects LSP(Label Switched Path) resources set in a network from an MPLS(Multi-Protocol Label Switching) network device(104). A network manager(102) allocates LSP bandwidth resources to each service(118). A service control server(112) requires resource authentication(120). A policy determination unit(110) refers to the transmission resource controller for determining whether resources are available(122). The transmission resource controller searches an LSP set between two routers on the collected LSP resources and determines whether bandwidth resources by service are available(124).
Abstract:
A method for processing a signaling message in an MPLS LSP based transmission network and a subscriber network supporting path-coupled signaling is provided to enhance scalability of a network by reducing a load which is added to the transmission network. A interaction supporting system is made up of a transmission network boundary router(120) and a resource management system(130). If a specified terminal(110) of a subscriber network transmits a path-coupled signaling message through a specified path(170), the transmission network boundary router connected to the subscriber network converts the message and transmits the converted message to the resource management system. The resource management system checks up the message to identify the subscriber network where a subscriber terminal(160) is located, a transmission network boundary router(140) connected with the subscriber network, and the resource management system(150). And the resource management system transmits the converted message to the identified resource management system so as to perform the path-coupled signaling on the path(190) between the boundary router and the terminal(160) of a called party.

A P2P traffic classifying system and method are provided to satisfy requirements of a network provider who needs to essentially recognize characteristics of a P2P application and a manager who needs to analyze an Internet application and recognize a risk that the application may apply to a network, at an early stage. A traffic detecting unit(110) detects traffic from the Internet(200). An IP address extracting unit(120) extracts information including an IP address from a packet of the detected traffic. A rule management unit(130) generates a rule based on the extracted information and stores/manages it, and applies the rule to the packet transmitted from the traffic detecting unit(110). A file management unit(140) classifies and stores the packet in a storage unit of a file system according to an instruction of the rule management unit(130).
