Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for calculating postal delivery workloads which identify workloads among postmen, distributing teams, and distributing post offices by objectively calculating workloads of postmen based on distribution work and delivery quantity handled by postmen in postal processes. The method for calculating postal delivery workloads according to the present invention is characterized by comprising: an information obtaining step for obtaining work calculation factors to calculate a workload of a postman; a distribution working time calculation step for separately calculating departure preparation working time, delivery sorting working time, travel time, delivery working time and additional working time using the work calculation factors obtained in the information obtaining step; a standard working time calculation step for calculating standard working time by adding all the distribution working time including the departure preparation working time, delivery sorting working time, travel time, delivery working time and additional working time; and a workload calculation result output step for showing a result by dividing the standard working time by working time per day.
