Abstract: 본 발명은 멀티캐스트 지원을 위한 이동통신 시스템의 멀티미디어 데이터 서비스 장치와, 이동통신 시스템의 멀티미디어 데이터 서비스를 위한 멀티캐스트 서비스 활성화 및 비활성화 방법에 관한 것으로, 이동통신 시스템의 패킷 데이터 네트워크 게이트웨이로부터의 멀티미디어 데이터 서비스 참여 요청에 따라, 이동통신 시스템의 이동성 관리 개체로부터 이동성 관리를 위한 정보를 수신하고, 수신한 이동성 관리를 위한 정보를 참조해 멀티미디어 데이터를 이동단말로 멀티캐스팅하도록 구현함으로써 3GPP Release 7 이후의 시스템에서 멀티캐스트 서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 한 것이다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A BS apparatus for broadcasting service support and a data processing method thereof are provided to offer a broadcasting service through a BS which provides an IP service on a mobile communication network. CONSTITUTION: According to the analysis result of a received transfer protocol data, a transfer protocol data management unit(120) respectively outputs IP service data or broadcasting service data. A compression protocol data processor(130) processes the IP service data outputted from the transfer protocol data management unit to compression protocol data. A synchronization processor(140) processes the time synchronization of the broadcasting service data outputted from the transfer protocol data management unit.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A streaming server, a mobile terminal, and a method for reducing channel zapping delay are provided to transmit base layer data to every time slice, thereby displaying a picture by the base layer data of a channel requested by a channel change. CONSTITUTION: An encoding unit(210) classifies each of channel data into base layer data and extension layer data. The encoding unit encodes the classified data. A division unit(220) divides the encoded channel data by a time slice unit. A cycle data transmitting unit(230) transmits time slice cycle data about each channel. A stream transmitting unit(240) transmits the divided data at a preset time.

Abstract: A method for handling an internet security protocol tunnel mode is provided to establish an IPsec tunnel through a security policy and security association between a mobile node and a packet gateway system and transmit a packet, thereby obtaining security of packet transmission. A security policy including security policy identifier information of an IPv6(Internet Protocol version6) header is inquired in a mobile node to process an outbound IPsec(Internet security Protocol) tunnel of a user packet and an MIPv6 signal. According to SA(Security Association) indicating the inquired security policy, the security policy identifier information is handled. Or, an outbound packet is outputted by adding an IPsec tunnel header to a packet.
