Disclosed is a method for transmitting content, which enables the efficient use of a communication network and rapid transmission of content when a high-quality service is provided for a low-end mobile terminal in a mobile virtualization system. To this end, the method for transmitting content comprises: a content classification step of identifying content requested from a mobile terminal and classifying the content according to types of content; a content encoding step of encoding the classified content according to types of content; a content information file making step of making a content information file including information on each content to be encoded and information on the correlation between the content; and a content and content information file transmission step of transmitting, to the mobile terminal which requests the content, the encoded content and the content information file.

Abstract:
A roaming method between the packet-based next generation mobile communication system and a 3GPP(3rd Generation Partnership Project) mobile communication system are provided to integrate the management the establishment of a routing path with the management of a user session so that the components of the packet-based next generation mobile network are interlinked. A next generation mobile telecommunication system comprises a mobility management part and a routing management part for managing a routing path in regard to a user's traffic. A roaming process includes a process of acquiring information relating to a user's terminal in a previous connection system of the user's terminal(201) after receiving the network registration request from the user's terminal. Thereafter, a router advertisement message is transmitted to the user's terminal(205). Thereafter, the registration request message is transmitted to a home subscriber server(207) after receiving a mobile IP registration request message(206) in order to re-establish the session from the user's terminal. Thereafter, a mobile IP registration response is transmitted to the user's terminal(211) when the response message for notifying the change of the routing information(210) corresponding to the user's terminal is received from the home subscriber server.

A method and an apparatus for the handover of a PSS(Portable Subscriber Station) in a WiBro(Wireless Broadband Internet) network interworking with an IMS(Internet protocol Multimedia Subsystem) are provided to offer IMS-associated services smoothly by providing a new P-CSCF(Proxy-Call Session Control Function) to a PSS, which accesses a WiBro network interworking with an IMS, so that the PSS carries out reentry procedures for the IMS domain. A PSS(104), which attempts radio access to a WiBro network interworking with an IMS, comprises a message receiving part(104a), a message analysis part(104b), and a control part(104d). The message receiving part receives a router advertisement message from an access router in the WiBro network. The message analysis part extracts a P-CSCF address from the option field of the received router advertisement message and compares it with a previously stored P-CSCF address. In case the extracted P-CSCF address is different from the previously stored P-CSCF address, the control part executes registration procedures for the IMS domain through the extracted P-CSCF.

PURPOSE: A fast channel change device and method in a multicast mobile internet protocol television (IPTV) service based on scalable video coding are provided to offer a fast channel change service by communicating with a core network and pre-outputting a base layer with predictable next channels based on the channel change pattern of a mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A user identification information acquisition unit (210) obtains the user identification information of a terminal which requests a mobile IPTV service. A user channel access history information database (230) stores the channel history information of one or more users who are provided with the mobile IPTV service. A user history information search unit (220) searches channel connection history information for corresponding to the user identification information.
