PURPOSE: A mesh node synchronization method in a wireless mesh system is provided to modulate a preamble of a neighbor node and broadcasting information. CONSTITUTION: An automatic gain controller transmits a network setup signal received from a neighbor node to a PHY(PHYsical Layer)(S531b). The PHY synchronizes time or frequency by using a preamble of the network setting signal(S532b). The PHY transmits the location information of a starting point of a super frame of the network setting signal to a DSP(Digital Signal Processor). The DSP synchronizes the clock of a mesh node through the location information. PURPOSE: A resource assignment device of a wireless communication system and a method thereof are provided to prevent the collision between time shaft resources and frequency shaft resources in a wireless communication system based on an OFDMA(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access). CONSTITUTION: A reception unit(720) receives a control message from a hop node of a communication node. An assignment control unit(730) collects the resource assignment information of two hop nodes and one hop node through the control message. The assignment control unit selects assignable transmission resources and assignable reception resources using the resource assignment information of the nodes. The assignment control unit individually assigns the transmission resources and reception resources to an assignable reception resource and the assignable transmission resource. PURPOSE: A winner node selecting method in an OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) based wireless mesh system is provided to effectively select winner nodes by establishing a parameter related to an algorithm for minimizing collision between competition nodes. CONSTITUTION: A node collects parameters which are necessary to select mesh data for the nodes of a second hole section. The node uses the nodes of the second hole section as competition nodes. The node determines a winner node for each sub-channel. When the winner node is determined for a first sub-channel of the sub-channels, the node excludes the nodes of a first hole section from the competition node.

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for using a frame structure for a wireless mesh network are provided to transmit a network configuration information message and scheduling information for acquisition of resources with high opportunity. CONSTITUTION: A super-frame(SU,100) is the largest unit frame used for a wireless mesh network. Nodes within an OFDMA based wireless mesh network implement communication using the super-frame for data transmission and dispersed connection control. The super-frame comprises one or more frames, one of which is a network control frame(NCF) used by the nodes and the others of which are scheduling and data frames(SDF). 이동국의 빔 제어 방법이 개시된다. 이동국은 서빙 기지국으로부터 이득 최대화 전처리 행렬 인덱스, 인접 기지국과 관련된 간섭 최소화 전처리 행렬 인덱스, 전처리 행렬 인덱스 조합 비율, 인접 기지국의 식별자를 수신하고, 식별자에 해당하는 인접 기지국으로부터의 채널 정보 행렬과 서빙 기지국으로부터의 채널 정보 행렬을 구한다. 이동국은 간섭 최소화 전처리 행렬 인덱스에 해당하는 제1 코드북을 인접 기지국으로부터의 채널 정보 행렬을 이용하여 변형하고, 이득 최대화 전처리 행렬 인덱스에 해당하는 제2 코드북을 서빙 기지국으로부터의 채널 정보 행렬을 이용하여 변형한다. 이동국은 변형된 제1 코드북, 변형된 제2 코드북, 및 전처리 행렬 인덱스 조합 비율을 이용하여 전처리 행렬을 구하여 빔을 제어한다.

PURPOSE: A device for generating a codebook, a method for generating a codebook and a method for transmitting data are provided to select an optimal pre-processing matrix, thereby obtaining transmission efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A frequency determining unit(110) decides a frequency which makes a transmission codebook to have an optimal feature. A pre-processing matrix generating unit(120) generates a pre-processing matrix based on the frequency. A codebook generating unit(140) generates a retransmission codebook used in retransmission based on the pre-processing matrix. The codebook generating unit generates the transmission codebook based on the retransmission codebook. When the minimum distance of the transmission codebook becomes maximum, the transmission codebook has the optimal feature.

PURPOSE: A signal transmitting method and a signal receiving method are provided to estimate the channel of a cell to which a terminal belongs and the channel of a signal coming from a neighbor cell, thereby reducing the interference of the neighbor cell. CONSTITUTION: In order to be orthogonal to the pilot pattern of a first user terminal, a second user terminal changes its own pilot pattern(S522). A center BS(Base Station) receives a transmitting signal from the first user terminal in a nth frame(S524). The center BS estimates a channel with the first and second terminals(S528). A neighboring BS detects the transmitting signal of the second user terminal with a channel estimation value(S530). The center BS eliminates an interferential signal with the channel estimation value and transmitting signal of the second user terminal(S536).
