본 발명은 광대역 무선 통신 시스템에서 핸드오버 예상시간 협상을 통한 핸드오버 단절 시간 감소를 위한 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 서빙 기지국에서 단말의 핸드오버를 지원하기 위한 방법은, 타겟 기지국으로부터 잔여 핸드오버 예상 시간을 포함하는 핸드오버 사전 통보 응답 메시지를 수신하는 과정과, 상기 잔여 핸드오버 예상 시간을 이용하여 현재의 잔여 핸드오버 예상 시간을 계산하는 과정과, 상기 계산된 잔여 핸드오버 예상 시간을 상기 타겟 기지국과 교환하는 과정을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 핸드오버, 핸드오버 단절 시간(handover interruption time), 핸드오버 예상 시간, 백본망 지연, 무선망 전송 지연

PURPOSE: A transmission line determination method based on user side termination service quality in a wireless communication system and apparatus thereof are provided to determine a transmission line based on user side service quality. CONSTITUTION: A measurement unit(110) acquires the service quality of a user side. A control unit(130) selects one or more transmission lines which satisfy the request of a user according to a fixed standard. The measurement unit and the control unit are located to a user terminal. The measurement service includes a quality measurement unit(101) or a network search unit(105). The service quality measurement unit measures the user side service quality. The network searching unit searches the satisfaction of the user side quality and measures searching information.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A mobility management method of a mobile router in a mobile communication network and an apparatus therefor are provided to offer a path re-routing function to a new mobile router. CONSTITUTION: A controller(800) periodically scans the reference signals which are transmitted through an access link from an one or more adjacent mobile routers. The controller controls the procedures of forming an adjacent mobile router and a feed link using the collected scanning result. A transceiver(802) transmits and receives whole signals of the mobile router.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A handover message transmitting power control method and apparatus in a mobile communications system is provided to control a ranging code for ranging with a target BS(Base Station) and the transmitting power of a ranging request message according to calculated maximum transmitting power, thereby increasing the successive reception probability of the target BS. CONSTITUTION: An MS(Mobile Station) performs synchronization with a handover target BS(Base Station)(314). The MS calculates the maximum transmitting power of a handover ranging message through uplink information previously obtained. The MS transmits a CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) ranging code to the target BS at a power level less than the calculated maximum transmitting power(316). The target BS station transmits a ranging response message or a CDMA assignment information element message to the MS(318). The target BS transmits a ranging response message including information about power control to the MS(322).

PURPOSE: A session connection control device in a communication system and method thereof are provided to control the connection of a session and to determine the characteristic of each layer through network supplying information. CONSTITUTION: A session characteristic determination unit(211) determines the characteristic of a transport layer, a network layer, and a physical layer. A path characteristic determination unit(213) selects a transport path for the connection of a session. The session characteristic determination unit determines the characteristic of the selected transmission path. A session connection control unit(215) controls the connection of the session.
